Chicken Run - Part 2 - The Chirp Chronicles

We came home last night and my farmer and daughter worked on the chirp's coop alittle more.     Grandpa Farmer was there and Grandma even meandered her way over.  I snapped some photos and then headed to the house, and eventually ended up back there too!
Who knew that these chickens could bring family together!

Milton needed to cut a rectangle in the front of the coop
so the chirps could get out into the "run".

When Milton was working on the frame and door for the opening,
PV had to stand guard so the Chirps wouldn't get out!
Looks like a very serious job to me!

A family that works together - stays together!

Finally we tried to get them to come out.... that ended up being harder than planned!

Milton put one of the chirps out, but it didn't last long.

We still need to put  a "top" on the chirp run, but at least we can let them out some of the time.
I haven't been over there today to see if they have figured out the door yet, but we will later!
We'll keep you posted!

Thanks for stopping by !
